42 | How to Find your Food Freedom

So you’ve done the Whole30. Well now what?! Today’s episode dives into how to find your food freedom. To help you make peace with food and your body and stop letting food control your life, your happiness, and your self-worth. We’re going into listener questions on struggles with finding food freedom, reintroducing foods on the Whole30 (and why this is such a key part of finding your food freedom), and how the journey to food freedom starts before you even begin a Whole30.

Food Freedom is not easy. But it’s worth it. Food freedom IS eating with intention. Making peace with food and your body. Just like the scale no longer controls you because you have hopefully realized it’s a lying sack of crap (like I did after my first Whole30) and it LITERALLY only measures your relationship with gravity and the earth, and not your self-worth or your happiness or your capabilities to be an amazing human being, the goal with food freedom is that food no longer controls you. There is no longer guilt or shame associated with food, and no corresponding binge-restrict cycles. No cheat days, cheat meals or cheat weekends. Just eating with intention. There are no good foods and bad foods. Only foods that make you feel good and foods that don’t always make you feel awesome, but there is no morality attached to them.
